Ron Crist

Ron Crist is a lifelong artist originating from the United States and now residing in Queensland, Australia. He is a trained technical illustrator, working on designs for Rockwell and NASA. He is now retired and focusing on his own designs. As a natural creative, his newest passion is in woodcarving with local timber. Red gum and camphor laurel are among his favorite materials because of their rich colour and grain. He is most inspired by the natural world, carefully handcrafting unique pieces of meticulous detail and depth.
