Ron Crist

Ron Crist is a lifelong artist originating from the United States and now residing in Queensland, Australia. He is a trained technical illustrator, crafting designs for Rockwell and NASA. He is now retired and focusing on his own work. As a natural creative, he has always enjoyed craftsmanship through many forms, though woodcarving with local timber is his latest passion. Red gum and camphor laurel are among his favorite materials because of their rich colour and grain. He is most inspired by the natural world, carefully handcrafting unique pieces of meticulous detail and depth.
